TRIP REPORT

We dropped the 750' from Democrat north to the Democrat-Lincoln saddle and headed up Lincoln. The trail was still ice-glazed and a bit treacherous in spots, but the exposure was limited so there was not much danger. At the top of the ridge, we swung right to hit the summit of Cameron, a sub-peak that does not merit fourteener status because there is not enough drop or distance between it and Lincoln.
We dropped down a little bit, went up one small hump, and then the next hump was Lincoln's summit. There were excellent views and more evidence of mining activity. We took a short break on top as the sun began to warm things up and melt off the ice.
TRIP REPORT

On the ten-year anniversary of my first climb I climbed Lincoln again with Chuck, a friend and guide from my Aconcagua adventure. No problems, just a good time. We shared spicy tuna and pop-tarts atop Cameron.
